Prada takes you to the 50's...

While surfing the net, I stumbled upon

Prada's Spring Summer 2012 Ad Campaign by Steven Meisel  

And I must say I was blown over ....

The vintage 50's automobile inspired 'out of the box' collection is truly a treat to the eyes 

Can't wait for it to get launched here in India

The entire range of shoes, bags, scarfs, sunglasses and dresses have a very vintage yet quirky feel to it 

and would definitely make one stand out in a crowd

so, thumbs up to Prada for the amazing collection!!!

Especially love the flame edges heels....they're so damn cool!!!

Messy...just the way I like it !!!

 

I am totally tripping over messy hair and pleated pants right now 

for me, its the easiest and most comfortable look to carry

Here I styled my hair (...rather just rolled it up) into a messy half bun

wore my baggy yet skinny pants with stud details 

and the oldest Tee I own (The t-shirt is nearly 7 yrs old...and i still love it !!!)

 a dash of all my favourite accessories..funky flip flops and ....

voila ...we get a comfy casual and laid back look!

Grey and black is an amazing combination and you can never ever go wrong with that

all you need to spice it up a little is a pop of colour

like my neon green beads...

Gossip Girl-Butterfly Wall Art....

I have been a huge fan of Gossip Girl forever now...

 Its one of my all time favourite shows

I'm sure there are zillions of you out there who love Gossip Girl as much as I do

It's just so stylish and fashion forward,

power packed with all the drama and action

I thank Gossip Girl for enriching my life....and hope that it lasts forever !!!

The Butterfly wall art is something that I've been yearning for a long time now

 Its just the most beautiful thing to adorn the walls

at least for me (considering my love for butterflies and all things feminine)

Neon by the beach....

A day by the beach ...on the rocks
(pun intended)

is all you need to relax your senses from the fast paced city life

So, when an impromptu plan for a picnic at Alibaug came up

how could I possibly resist

We visited Varsoli beach which was simply beautiful

with all the water...sand..coconut trees..water sports..

and local home-cooked seafood (which by the way was super-scrumptious)

All in all it was a day well spent !!!

I sported the "Neon" look today

that has become quite the trend lately, 

by pairing my neon pink pleated shorts (which I had stitched for one of my college assignments)

with a simple tee...flip flops and beads

Ohh..and not to forget my latest buy...the ultra cute neon yellow Peace smiley tote bag !!!
